Free Residential Coaching to minorities for Civil services exams

The Residential Coaching Programme is part of the Karnataka government’s ongoing efforts to support and empower students from minority backgrounds — including Muslim, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, and Parsi communities. The programme aims to provide high-quality coaching, guidance, and a conducive environment to help candidates succeed in India’s most competitive civil service examinations.


Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Residential IAS & KAS Coaching at Haj Bhavan, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Must be a resident of Karnataka.

  • Must belong to one of the religious minority communities:
    Muslim, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, or Parsi.

  • Must have graduated from a government-recognized university.

  • Age Limit:

    • Minimum: 21 years

    • Maximum: 35 years (as of the last date of application).

  • Candidates who have previously availed of coaching through the Directorate of Minorities are also eligible.

  • Government employees (Central or State) are not eligible to apply.
