Are you a Karnataka student from a minority community passionate about teaching? The Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation Ltd (KMDCL) offers a financial incentive to help you pursue a D.Ed or B.Ed degree without worrying about costs. Here’s what you need to know:



What’s the Incentive?

D.Ed Students: Receive ₹25,000

B.Ed Students: Receive ₹50,000

  • This one-time grant covers tuition, books, and other course expenses.

Who Can Apply?

You’re eligible if you: 

  • Belong to Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, or Parsi communities
  • Are a permanent resident of Karnataka
  • Are enrolled in a full-time D.Ed/B.Ed program at a recognized institution
  • Have a family income of ₹8 Lakh or less per year
  • Have passed your previous year/semester exams


How to Apply:

keep a scanned copy of :

  • Domicile, Income, and Minority Community Certificates
  • College admission letter and fee receipt
  • Aadhaar card, bank details, and marks cards
