 Educational Assistance for the children's of construction Workers

Scholarships will be provided under the Anand Bhagya Yojana for the education of two children of registered workers by the Karnataka Labour Welfare Board (KLWB).

Eligibility and criteria

• The student's father/mother must be a construction worker and must be registered with the board and the registration must be current.
• The student must have passed the previous class and enrolled in the next class.
• Only two children of registered workers can receive the scholarship.
• Even if both parents are registered workers, the student is not allowed to avail the benefit and only the beneficiary's family can apply.

Documents to be submitted with the application

• Registration card (Labor Card) issued by the board
• Aadhaar card copy of the registrant and his/her spouse
• Type
• Is the educational institution a base or not?
• Registrant's bank account details (the account must be linked with Aadhaar and mapped to NPCI by the bank)
• Student's SATS ID or Newdent ID
• Certificate of Addiction
• Employment confirmation letter and self-certification letter
