The Vocational Incentive Scheme helps minority entrepreneurs in Karnataka start small businesses by providing financial support up to ₹1.00 lakh, where 50% is a loan and 50% is a subsidy.

Eligibility

Must belong to a religious minority community (Muslim, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, or Parsi).

Permanent resident of Karnataka.

Age: 18–55 years.

Family income: Up to ₹6.00 lakhs per year.

No State/Central government employee in the family.

Should not have availed any previous KMDC loan/subsidy (except Arivu and Edeshi Education Loan).
Eligible Activities
Financial aid can be used for small businesses such as:

Fruit, vegetable, poultry, or fish vending

Coconut water, sugarcane juice, or soft drink stalls

Bakery, laundry, salon, beauty parlour

Mechanic or puncture shops, vehicle repair services
