Vidyasiri Scheme
To ease the burden of huge expenses students are facing in terms of food ,accommodation and other costs while studying for their higher studies for minority community students, the Vidyasiri Scheme provides direct financial assistance for those without access to hostel facilities.
If you are a student from a minority community studying in a post-matric course, this scheme is designed to support you.
Key Highlights of the Scheme:
For Whom? Minority Community Students.
For Which Courses? All Post-Matric courses (from PUC/Class 12 to Ph.D).
Where? Students studying in Government, Aided, Unaided, and Private College Institutions.
Main Condition: The student must not have a hostel facility.
What are the Benefits?
Eligible students will receive direct financial aid to cover living expenses:
Monthly Assistance: ₹1,500 per month for food and accommodation.
Total Annual Payout: ₹15,000 per year (for a maximum of 10 months in an academic year).
Payment Mode: The amount will be directly credited to the student's bank account, ensuring transparency and timely support.
This initiative ensures that financial constraints do not hinder your educational journey. If you meet the criteria, this scheme can provide crucial support throughout your academic year.
