Swavalambi Sarathi Scheme – Directorate of Minorities, Government of Karnataka
The Swavalambi Sarathi Scheme supports minority youth in Karnataka to become self-employed by purchasing passenger autorickshaws, taxis, or goods vehicles with financial assistance.
Key Features
Implemented in collaboration with Nationalized/Scheduled Banks, RBI-recognized Finance Companies, Co-operative Banks, and Societies.
Subsidy: Up to 50% of the vehicle’s on-road price (maximum ₹3.00 lakh).
Passenger autorickshaw: Maximum subsidy ₹75,000.
Beneficiary contribution: 10% of the vehicle cost.Priority given to women applicants.
Eligibility

Must belong to a religious minority community.

Permanent resident of Karnataka.

Age: 18–55 years.

Annual family income: Up to ₹6.00 lakhs.

No State/Central government employee in the family.

Should not have availed any previous loan/subsidy from the Corporation (except Arivu or Foreign Education Loan).
