Marriage grant
Assistance will be provided for the first marriage of a registered construction worker or the marriage of his/her children Karnataka Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (KBOCWWB).
Eligibility and criteria
- Must be a registered worker with the board
- Must have completed at least one year of membership in the board from the date of registration to the date of marriage.
- A worker's family will be allowed to receive the subsidy only twice.
- Must have reached the age prescribed under the Marriage Act to receive the subsidy
- Application must be submitted within 6 months from the date of marriage.
Documents to Apply
- Identity card issued by the board
- Employment confirmation letter and self-certification letter
- Copy of Bank Pass Book
- Marriage registration certificate obtained from the marriage registrar
- Affidavit if the marriage took place outside the state of Karnataka
- Copy of Ration Card
- Aadhar card copy of the bride and groom (to confirm age or children of the beneficiary)
